Wednesday Program
Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for INSPIRE Youth Group! Our evening begins with conversation and prayer, followed by praise and worship music, Bible study, games or activities, snacks, and free time to relax and connect with friends. It is a welcoming place for teens to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and enjoy time together.

We begin by welcoming and introducing new teens, who will also have an opportunity to attempt the Impossible Shot! Students are then encouraged to talk about their week—celebrating the great things happening in their lives and sharing any difficulties they may be facing. This time helps our young people learn to listen to and care for one another while allowing our youth leaders to know each teenager personally and support them through life’s joys and challenges. Most importantly, we learn how to bring one another’s needs before the Lord in prayer.

Having fun together helps teens build meaningful Christian friendships that can encourage and strengthen them throughout life’s journey. We will enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor games designed to promote participation, teamwork, and plenty of laughter. Students are encouraged to dress casually and modestly in clothing that allows them to participate comfortably and safely in activities requiring movement. Parents will be notified in advance of any activity that takes the group away from church property. We also welcome suggestions from our teens and encourage them to share the games and activities they would enjoy.

Following Ephesians 5:19–20, we will lift our voices to the Lord through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankful hearts. Our music will include traditional hymns and God-honoring conservative choruses with biblically sound lyrics. We intentionally avoid a band-driven concert atmosphere and Christian rock, choosing music that directs attention to God rather than the performers. This time brings our teens together through meaningful worship while teaching them to honor the Lord in the music they sing and hear. Those who desire may also have opportunities to sing in groups and participate in special music during church services.

We all know teens enjoy eating—and snack time gives them another opportunity to relax, talk, and enjoy time with their friends. Snacks and drinks will be provided at no charge, with selections varying from week to week. Parents should let our youth leaders know about any food allergies or special dietary needs, and we will make every reasonable effort to provide a suitable option. From time to time, parents may also be invited to help by providing snacks for the group.

Guided by 2 Timothy 2:15, our Bible studies are designed to help teens understand the truth of God’s Word and apply it to their lives. Practical lessons will address everyday decisions, relationships, struggles, and opportunities, helping students recognize God’s hand in daily living. We will encourage each teenager to develop a consistent time of personal Bible reading and prayer. Our desire is for teens to trust God’s Word by faith and grow in their desire to know and love God more through the Scriptures.

The final segment of our INSPIRE Youth Wednesday program gives teens approximately 15 minutes of free time to connect with friends. During this time, they may purchase snacks from the snack rack, play games, or simply relax and visit together.
We encourage our teens to welcome others, build meaningful friendships, and look for opportunities to be friendly and encouraging. Our youth leaders also use this time to get to know the teens personally and encourage them in their walk with Christ.
Our Wednesday evening program concludes at approximately 7:45 p.m.
