Pastor Joe Martin was saved on May 1, 1990 after a co-worker shared the Gospel with him. Shortly after his salvation, he answered the Lord's call to enter into the ministry. The following year, he enrolled at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Pastoral Studies and Missions. He is currently studying for his Masters Degree at Tennessee Temple Seminary through online courses. While at Calvary, he met his wife, Esther. Esther was born to missionary parents serving in Manaus, Brazil. She came to the United States after her high school graduation to attend Bible college. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1994. They were married on December 18, 1993. The Lord has blessed Pastor Joe and Esther in many remarkable ways, but the greatest of all His blessings are their four children. Pastor Joe was called to pastor Basehor Baptist Church on March 21, 1999. He considers it an honor and privilege to pastor a wonderful and caring church family. |
